Hello! My name is Hilary. I’m a self-taught painter and designer focused on exploring brilliant colors and patterns through watercolor, alcohol ink, and acrylics. I often use photos I've collected on my travels as inspiration for my paintings, and I have a great affection for flowers because I just can’t seem to stop painting them.

I paint because I am passionate about connecting with and inspiring others. I want my work to give my collectors the chance to visit places they’ve never been, relive lovely memories, or have something beautiful that makes them feel more joy and hope.

I grew up painting and drawing with my mother, who is a professional artist, and I have a degree in art history, so creativity is in my blood. Over the past decade, I built a career in travel and education and have had the opportunity to live in places like Florence, Italy, Edinburgh, Scotland, and most recently, Copenhagen, Denmark. I am also a certified life coach. However, I found that creativity was sadly missing from my life, so in January 2020, I picked up my watercolor supplies once again, and have been painting consistently ever since.

Sharing the joy of painting and bringing beauty into the world became my new internal direction, so I let that drive me forward. I moved back to the U.S. after living in Copenhagen, Denmark for just over two years, and I am now a full-time artist offering original paintings, art prints, and commissions.

I am currently based in Frederick, Maryland, USA, but I travel often.
